Marck Dudrey was hired unanimously by the Lisbon City Council last week to fill the position of nuisance abatement and zoning administrator.
According to Mayor Beryl O'Connor, Dudrey is expected to make up to $8,000 per year with no benefits as a part-time employee. According to council member Larry McAtee, on June 11 of this year, the city had budgeted $10,000 per year for the zoning administrator position.
The zoning administrator, according to the job announcement, reviews building permits and inspections and enforces zoning concerns. The position is expected to take, on average, 10 to 15 hours per week.
Dudrey said he lives outside of Mount Vernon, and has for about nine years, with his wife and two children. He owns Auto Medic in Solon, which he opened in October 2003, according to the auto repair company's website. |
