Cole Corner: New guides written for female travelers
April 19, 2013
Are you a woman with destinations on your bucket list that you have yet to reach? Do you have reservations about traveling on your own, but have the desire to hit the road? At Cole Library we have purchased four new titles for women travelers - those experienced and those just starting out.
These titles cover everything from travel basics (like the best time to purchase tickets) to packing and staying within a budget. The guides also tackle issues of concern that you may not have considered- hotel safety, dealing with unwanted advances, injury, travel insurance and what to do if a travel disaster occurs.
All of the authors are world travelers and include stories of their travels, as well as other women's experiences.
If you are a man reading this article and feeling left out, remember that good advice is good for everyone.
So stop in and check out our travel books and start planning your trip.
