Cole Corner: Large print books plenty useful, even for those with 20/20 vision
June 28, 2013 · Cathy Boggs
Do you think that large print books are only for people with impaired vision? Believe it or not, large print books appeal to many people, even people with 20/20 vision.
Patrons love to read them while exercising. They are easy to read as you walk on a treadmill or pedal on a stationary bike. They are a great resource if you like to read before falling asleep, but your eyes are tired after a long day at work. Large print books can be just what you need to help you relax without taxing your already tired eyes.
If your vision requires that you read large print, we have a wonderful collection for you to choose from. They are located together, as a special collection, right after our audio books and before the regular fiction collection on the library's first floor.
Right now we are spotlighting this collection with some titles on display as you enter the library. I hope you check them out.
