Lisbon getting remote readers

Lisbon is investing in technology to make reading water meters easier.
The Lisbon City Council at its meeting June 26 approved a request from public works director Travis Bagby to purchase remote reading devices for water meters located at housing units in The Ponds development. Bagby budgeted $17,000 in the 2017-18 fiscal year to begin installing readers throughout the city.
