Burges celebrate 70 years of marriage

Vernon and Helen (Light) Burge are celebrating their 70th anniversary. They were married in Lisbon on April 16, 1942. Together they farmed five-generation land.
The Burges' children are David (Joan) and Keith (Linda), both of Mount Vernon, and Linda (Earl) Freese of Howe, Texas. They have nine grandchildren.
