Splash pad pavers to recognize donors

For those who would like to be recognized, the board's proposal is to offer three different sizes of pavers to be engraved and placed within a sidewalk that will lead from Jackson Street to the new water feature.

The Mount Vernon School District budget for the 2015-16 fiscal year, including a property tax rate of $18.34 per $1,000 of taxable valuation, was approved 5-1 by the school board at their April 13 meeting. Board member Virginia Roudabush voted against approval.
