Lisbon falls to North Linn in district final

Lisbon's baseball team had a strong postseason showing as the Lions made it to the district finals before falling to fifth-ranked North Linn. Lisbon downed Springville 7-0 in the district opener, and beat HLV 14-4 in five innings in the semifinals.

The Lisbon softball team had its season come to a crashing end Wednesday, July 6, at Bunting Field in Lisbon. The Lions dropped a 5-2 game to Marquette Catholic of Bellevue in Round 1 of the Class 1A, Region 4 postseason tourney. The team had four seniors who played their final games as Lions.
